Knights of Columbus
Joe Biscone and Chris Pierce present Tom Becnel and the Sandestin Foundation For Kids a $5000 donation from the Emerald Coast Knights of Columbus. The Foundation was a benefitting charity of the Knights of Columbus’ annual golf tournament held in September.

Sandestin Gumbo Fest
Sandestin Foundation for Kids recently provided the volunteers for the Sandestin Gumbo Fest. The Foundation received $3,000 for our work during the event. We had a blast helping the Baytowne Wharf Neighborhood Association with such an awesome event and thank them for their continued partnership!

Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center
The Defuniak Springs location of the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center is finally open! They had their Grand Opening event over the weekend, and they are officially open and helping children in the north end of the county! Food for Thought
Sandestin Foundation for Kids has recently become a corporate sponsor of Food For Thought, a local organization that helps feed hungry children in our immediate area. The Foundation’s sponsorship was specifically to support their Friday Backpack Program. This program aims to feed the 1,500 students throughout our county that rely on meal programs for school.

Clothes and Toys Donations
Sandestin Foundation for Kids, in partnership with the Sandestin Family Retail Shops, just made a donation of brand new toys, stuffed animals, books and clothes to local children in need totaling almost $1,000! Fall Festival
In the fall of 2015, Sandestin Foundation for Kids co-hosted a Fall Family Festival benefiting all in need across the Emerald Coast. People were asked to make a monetary donation of any size or bring a donation of clothes, baby items, food, toiletries, etc., and in exchange they received free tickets to the event. The

Beer Fest
Baytowne Wharf Neighborhood Association recently held its annual Beer Fest. Sandestin Foundation for Kids supplied volunteers to help break down the event, and received a $1,500 donation from the BWNA! We also had a booth selling pretzel necklaces, and it made over $800! Events like this help us to be able to help even more

Africa Trip

Crop Drop
Since 2009, Thrivent Financial- Emerald Coast Group has held an annual event bringing fresh produce to one central location to disperse to local families in need.
